Default Quiet line with a GT 46" deck??

Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone has had luck with putting a gt 46" high vacuum deck on say, a 1450? Any pictures and or information would be appreciated!

A friend of mine said he had that setup (Its his first Cub, was a Deere guy). I haven't had a chance to see if it has a 44" or indeed the 46" on it.

I anyone can make it work, it would be you Trent.

However, this is what I see....
The cyclops undercarriage for that deck will go on the QL.... but the cyclops sit a little higher because of the front axle. Plus, the front axle was swept forward on the cyclops giving the extra room needed for that deck. If you fitted a cyclops front axle onto a QL.... it might just "bolt" right up.

I've been eyeing up the 48" decks from the 2000 series for my 1450. The rear pins should be close enough to be made to work, the front roller bracket can be capped and eyelet bolts installed, and a longer belt sourced. The 1450 wheelbase is 44", 2185 wb is 47", when looking at pics there is much more than 3" clearance for/aft of the deck. I'm sure there are a few reasons why it won't work, but without one in front of me I haven't found out. I know I'm not much help with your question, but I've been thinking along the same lines.

lol, the sun does shine on a fat mans @$$ every once in a while, will have to see!

The gt 46" Deck does mount on the 1811 series tractors, and they have the same front axle which made me think it "should work" The last time I tried it I got frustrated and gave up, that was 13 years ago or so...

Default 46"gt mower

The 46gt mower came with my 1810.
Now using the mower on my 782D
It does not raise as high on the 1810 stock axle as it does on the 782D with a 1864 front axle and v61 tires. Also had to use a shorter belt on the diesel. Lines up the pulleys on the mule drive better. II instead of Ii.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
