Default Cub cadet 1912
Hello everyone. I've been collecting Cub cadets for a long time and have had at least one from every generation of IH Cub cadets. I come across a Cub Cadet 1912 from a person I know. I never heard of that model so I looked it up and from what I can see it is the same as the 982. He has a 60 inch mower and a two-stage blower with it. Supposedly it is in good condition and well maintained. He wants 850 for it. Going to pick it up this morning if it is nice as he says. Just wanted to check and see if that was a good price and the pros and cons of this tractor if anyone can help me. Thanks again

Default Cub Cadet 1912
Seems like a good deal if not too many hours on it and well maintained. MTD product produced from 1985-1986 with a 19.9 hp onan engine and super garden tractor frame.
Hopefully other members/owners will share information on the 1912. You can also do a Duckduckgo.com search to get the technical specs you may be looking for.

The blower and deck are worth the price of admission in this case alone if they are in tip top shape.

1912s and 1914s are both neat models. I have a really rough 14 that was repowered with a KT17 Series II.

Does your 1914 have a 3 point hitch with a rear PTO? If so, can you post a picture? Would love to see it!

I picked up a 1914 about 5 years ago. Mine is missing the lower cat 0 arms. They are the same as the 982's and the serial tag list the model # as a 986 which is the same as a fully loaded 982. I'm probably the only person in Georgia with a snow cab on a garden tractor.
