Looks like they did a A-1 job on the restore.
They make great end tables when you have two.

The serial number you posted is the engine SN. The tractor SN should be on the right side if the transmission. It will be 4 or 5 digits.

I was wondering the same. I know where there is an O that looks that good (or at least was about 8 years ago) there is a sandblasting business west of Morris and they had one up on a shelf (the shop/showroom was HUGE) that the owner's Gramps supposedly restored from the ground up, lots of NOS parts, including a short block...... the guy told me the whole story on it because I was there to drop my son's O off, in pieces, to be sandblasted.

NO....that is a "casting part number". The serial number range for the Original was 501 to 65547. This would be from Oct 1960 to Aug 1963.

Three and four digit serial number are most desired.

You may find it in an area looking something like this on the side of the rear end housing. This is on a model 70.

Sam , I remember that restoration well. That took time and there was a lot of repeat work done to get it done to a very high level of execution.

Bet it's the same one.
