That's why so many that didn't come standard with 3pt had them. Dealer ordered them with it. As many 100's as I've seen with wide tires, I'd say a lot were shipped that way.

It's just tires anyway.... as long as they were an available size, and period correct pattern, it's no big deal.
I wasn't trying to argue either. I guess my point was that if he wants tires with the correct tread pattern the only option is the skinny tires. Nobody that I know of is making the reproduction Firestone's in 23x8.50. I prefer AG's and tri ribs myself.

I prefer the look of the 23x8.50 tires on the rear but it would have left the factory with 6-12 tires. I have a set of wheels for 6-12 tires I will throw in with the tractor.
I love those too!

My recent 123 has a dry rotted set and I may bite the bullet and get a set of them for the rear.

With some time on Ebay and Amazon it's possible to find narrower fronts that are good (and which help in lowering the steering effort). Those town and country rears are pretty unique though!

I just ended up finding something off ebay for my tires. I actually bought my skinny rims for my 127 off ebay. They were from miller tire but when I ordered it off ebay they cost less and shipping was cheaper, not sure how that works out but oh well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
