Speaking of making your own yard tools:
When I was an older kid, we took a worn out skid plate from a combine header (216 Deere I think) and made me a tow type scrape blade. Welded 2 brackets on the top and put old 110 Deere deck gauge wheels on it---flipped it over to transport.

Also took broken sections of hume reels (I know these were from a 216) and made a lawn thatcher.


Disclaimer, the scrap pile only had Deere parts in it and
ITS NOT MY FAULT THEY DIDN'T LOCK THE SHOP DOOR!!!!!!!

Default Cub Cadet Hauler
I got the new Cub Cadet Hauler cart/wagon. This is a composit material, not steel. It is more expensive than most carts, but very veritable. The sides fold down if you need. They have a side attachment for tools. It stores compactly. I find it to be very strong and useful.

I’m way too late on this post, but if you are still looking for one check out Sears dump carts on marketplace, they’re usually on there. My family has used the same one for 40+ years hauling firewood and they’re apparently very collectible. I saw one on marketplace near me for $50
