Won't be long, it was 75 yesterday. After playing with Pig Pen I did mow for about 2 hours with the 2264.

Finally got off my lazy butt and replaced the seal behind the flywheel. Removed the throttle limit screw so now it's a CH20. Now to clean and repack the CV joints for the drive shaft and the tilt steering. Then on to rewiring and new gas lines. I removed the fuel shut off solenoid with the intention of cutting off the plunger but someone else beat me to it, LOL.

Please expand on this. Remove the throttle limit screw? That's two horsepower worth? And removing the fuel shut off solenoid... What does that do. Or better yet what does that prevent?

Sam has a good picture of the limit screw. It's right on the side of the carb. Only difference between the 18 and 20. So technically the 18 was more expensive because it had 1 more part.
The shutoff solenoid just prevents the engine from starting when it fails or doesn't have sufficient voltage to open when cranking. You can't remove it completely unless you have a block off plug. You just cut off the pintle and reinstall it.
