Anyone near Cordova, TN that can assist me with a Scout?
I found an old IH Scout that I've made a deal on and I'm picking it up Dec 12th.
The truck is located in the backyard of a house near a treeline and has been sitting. I will be in a 2wd truck and don't want to get stuck trying to get the Scout. I am willing to pay someone with a 4x4 to pull or winch the Scout to the driveway where I can load it onto my trailer after driving 6 hours. what we generally do in these situations is call a towing company in the area before hand and set it up so they are there shortly after we arrive, even if they charge you $100 its still alot better than dealing with the aggravation of getting stuck and having to call them anyway.

Yep, I thought of that. I just wanted to give someone on the board a chance to earn some holiday money before I gave it to a business.

The winch on the trailer I'm using only has enough cable to pull up a vehicle that is at the ramps.

Possibly you have, or can borrow some additional cable, chain, snatch straps,
Etc. from friends to add to it? ----just a thought. A "come-A-long" is handy also Nice of you to think of fellow cubbers  I kind of liked those ol' Scouts, but in the rust belt around here, they were never long lived. Think I have a wheel from one on the ol' Hay wagon, thinking they were same bolt pattern as jeep. LUCK!!
