Normally if you were to just click on the link for the manual it should render that file in your web browser. Lately with the newer versions of Internet Explorer they rely on Browser add-ins to allow this to happen. Sometimes they work normally other times they don't. For this particular instance if you put your mouse cursor over the link on the page that has the manual link on it, you will notice in the information bar at the bottom of the page you should see http://www.kohlerengines.com/onlinec...df/tp_2379.pdf. This is the full path to the download you seek...a simple way around this would be to Right Click on the link and from the side menu choose Save Target As. When you click on this you will see another window which will have the file name (tp_2379.pdf) just click save and you should now have the file downloaded! Other Browsers like Chrome, Firefox, all work in a similar fashion, but as of late IE is one that is pitching the most fits.

There is a multitude of other issues that would keep you from downloading something, too numerous to mention, but for what its worth try the right click thing I mentioned above.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
