King snake bit me on the shin last summer one day just as I walked into the shop-dogs had it hot and bothered so when I walked in-bam...don't normally kill them but that one died, even it is against state law.

Guys, he really is scared to death of snakes. Countless times growing up he would be screaming like a girl running out of a barn or a patch of weeds yelling SNAKE, SNAKE....though some of the funniest times were when we were bailing hay and he would roll one over and there would be a black snake sticking out of one.....yep...priceless.

Did you have any plumbing problems or did you have a plumber there? It may be a plumber's snake....or is that eel? Oh well, be sure to show us your new snakeskin boots when you get them.

Amen to that. The only good snake is a dead one around here
I'd rather have a fingernail tore out than be stuck in a small room with a snake.
I know some like the darn things, and that's okay. As long as it's out of my eyesight.

Well now that I know this good little secret, I'll be sure to keep this in mind next time we swap some equipment :-P

They used to be all around when I grew up, mostly creek moccasins and garter snakes. Whenever they showed up any closer than the border of the driveway to the house, out came the shovel. My dad hate HATE HATES spiders. Next to them, snakes are a close second. He had no sympathy for them. That being said, if I had a harmless garter snake creeping in my garage keeping mice under control, I can't help but think I'd keep the lil guy around.

Just as well have been an eel! I swear, I could have easily slid that socket into that skin with room to spare!!

...... I won't wear snakeskin boots either. LOL. I do hate snakes!!

I like boots made from a good ol' black cow!

Don't worry Jon I'm on your side to, I kill every snake I find. Actually I got a kick out of your pic with the flame thrower because I did light a snake on fire a few years ago, we were having a bon fire and it came out of my wood pile to warm up next to the fire so I picked it up with a shovel and tossed it in.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
