Nice little freebie today, just got it out of the trailer before dark so this is all the pics for now. I was told it was running when parked about 3 years ago so I'll see if it will fire up this weekend.

I have never seen one either but I did a little research and found out they were built for the Canadian market in the early 90's. Pretty cool Lance.

I looked on tractordata and didnt see the 'LTS' listed, probably should have posted it in the LT section but maybe the mods can move it there for me. I usually only drag home older IH machines so this is just my 2nd CCC. Hopefully I'll be able to clean it up, flip it, and put some $$ in the tractor fund

That's just cool. I didn't know that CCC made tractors just for some markets. Auto companies do it all the time, and IH used to also, but didn't know CCC did. Nice find Lance!

I guess, it would have more rare if you didn't find it in Canada....

Cool find, looks like a rebadged craftsman or Montgomery Ward's tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
