You can dump yours from the seat? Mine is too close to the ground for that.... When the release is released it just flops back closed again. I really wish I had a #4 instead.

Cart looks great!
I wouldn't change the tires, but if you do, put these on it: http://www.millertire.com/products/l...f-guide-4-ply/ They are the closest to original. Lug tires are drive tires. It's just my opinion, but I think they look silly on carts, and in place of front tires. |

I would leave it be but remove the CCC decals and put original IH ones on it.I never seen any with the 4.80x 8.00 tires on it.Only 6.50x8.00

I had a #2 for a short amount of time. It had the skinny wheels on it too.

I did a search and can't find 6.50x8.00 tires, it keeps coming up 16x6.50x8. I have been looking for IH decals. Do you know exactly what size decals I need to be the proper size? Also proper placement. Thanks!

Well here is my temporary (mabe) fix. Cleaned up with rattle can IH white touch ups, IH stickers, and spring for the tilt lever from the local farm store. The quickie makeover is a surprise for my daughter when she comes home from school today. Surprisingly the Velspar paint was a perfect match, it looks great at 5 feet and 5 miles per hour. Verry happy so far except the tires and rims bother me. I may need to find some original tires and rims witch won't be easy but it's mostly a fun cart for my daughter so I can't get too crazy.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
