Default 107 and cc36 snowblower

I am new to cadets, I purchased a 107 and saw a snowblower for sale locally owner told me it was for a narrow frame tractor so I bought it. Now I have been told a qa36 is the right one for my tractor. Will the cc36 fit on my tractor? If not can someone tell me what model tractors the cc36 is for?

The CC-36 Snowthrower was designed to be used on the 70 & 100 (NF) where it bolted on the frame.

For the 107, the QA-36, QA-42, QA-36A, or QA-42A would be the correct ones.

IIRC, the CC-36 will work, but it needs to be bolted on.

When IH introduced the 70/100 Series they came out with the CW-36 series of snow throwers in 1963. They built that CW series until 1966 when then introduced the CC series (36 & 42") of snow throwers. Both the CW & CC were "bolt on" implements.

Did the CC or Cw Series fit an Original? If not was there a snow thrower made for it?

I've bolted up a CW-36 to my 107 and it ran great. Getting ready to bolt it up again this winter.

The BB-36 was the snowthrower used on the Original.

I don't know if the CW or CC are backward applicable.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
