Played with the 1650 and 1250 today.
Well, I got the sleeve hitch installed on the 1650 today. I put her to work mowing with one of my several 44a decks. I discovered she isn't charging. So I put her back in the barn and pulled out the 1250. I do love the power of the 1650, but she really loves to drink. It seems like the 1250 only sips the gas. I really haven't used the 1250 much since I bought her. I usually use my trusty 1000 to eat the grass, but her shifter cup broke, one of her wheel seals decided to start leaking and the external brake pads needing replaced (I've got the replacement parts "in stock"). Now finding the time to play with them in the barn is the hard part!
I do like the cut and performance of the 44a decks on my Cubs a lot more than I do the Husqvarna 48" deck.

I know, I know. Pictures. I had to get to mowing and didn't get any of the new toy on the 1650. And just for fun, I'll take one of the hub oil leak on the 1000 too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
