Default 2182 spark plugs and oil filter

Ok, I can't believe I have to ask this but I'm having a hard time finding cross references for spark plugs and oil filters. The previous owner wrote it down on the inside of the hood, but I like to verify things. He's running NGK bcp 4es-11 spark plugs and Bosch 3323 engine oil filter. What are you all running?

I've looked at all the charts and cross reference manuals and can't get anything to go with the cub cadet part numbers.

Call them.... they have these computers that can cross numbers.

It's a Kubota engine. You should be using Kubota numbers anyway.

Thanks, but I've been to napa and advance auto, and been to all the online cross reference catalogs. Been to the spark plug websites, tried cub cadet, tried kubota, still can't find any cross reference to any other brand. That's why I'm posting here and why I said I'm having a hard time cross referencing the parts.

Wow! This is just crazy!

I went to the cub parts lookup site and pulled the part numbers for the spark plugs, and oil filter. Went to O'Reilly's website and put them in. It spit out 2 set of spark plug numbers and 6 different oil filter numbers!! (One of which was the spark plug Sam listed.)

Spark plugs:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/se...rd=12691-67710

Oil Filters:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/se...rd=70000-15241

Here's the oil filters on NAPA's site:
https://www.napaonline.com/napa/en/s...h_form-allprod

Spark Plugs didn't come up by Kubota number, but if you plug in the NGK numbers from O'reilly's, NAPA carries them too.....

I thought this was gonna be hard.....

I see. You used the old spark plug numbers from cub, not the new ones I used the new ones and nothing comes up.

I also see when you are cross referencing numbers, you are removing the KB, that's what I needed to know. Now I'm actually getting some possible references.

Thanks!

The KB indicated to Cub Cadet it is a Kubota part number. It isn't actually part of the part number. Same goes for part numbers that begin with IH-XXXXX. The IH isn't part of the number. Or BS-XXXXX for Briggs and Straton numbers......etc.

Point is, if you had called, they can look this stuff up by application. They (part stores) have a book for lawn and garden equipment.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
