Again we appreciate all the well wishes and prayers from you all in this time of sorrow. It's tough to imagine what it's going to be like without father around, but as he did and his father before him we will go on.
It's all a part of life I suppose, and time will heal the wounds, and the great support group that OCC members provide helps a great deal.
It's good to know that people such as yourselves can rally around someone you've never met and bring comfort and peace at a time like this. There is hope in this world, and a great bunch here at Only Cub Cadets.

Zippy,
My sincerest condolences to you and the family.
My dad passed 49 years ago, and I think of him almost daily.

Your dad will only be gone from this earth, but never gone from your family's hearts & thoughts.
You were lucky to have him around for so long.
As I initially followed your posts, I thought that could be me, as @ over 70, I had never had a colonoscopy.
Today I had my colonoscopy,I was lucky, finding no real problems, but
your Dad possibly saved me from a future problem, as I have added higher fiber to my diet.
Thank you, and God bless you and family.
Time will heal and make it easier on you/yours.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
