Default Nikki 2 bbl carb

this carb is on a 20HP Vanguard. Has 3 hose connections. Two on top, one on bottom. Top left is fuel inlet. What connects to the other two?

Bead blast: No, shot the outside with aerosol carb cleaner. The bottom half went in the ultrasonic cleaner.
I think they're atmospheric vents, maybe not.
The bottom one isn't shown on any figures in the B&S manual.
It doesn't have a float bowl drain screw. One is shown in the manual.

Haven't tried to start the motor yet. Still accumulating gaskets & seals to put it back together.

I would have guessed they were just vents, but I'm not very up on the Vanguards. Didn't figure they were vacuum lines.

I would call Vanguard and ask them.

So hey ford4150, What do you have for an ultrasonic cleaner? I was thinking about this one;

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002QD624C/...I22ENB0APW5DBO

couldn't justify the cost when I can usually do a pretty good job by hand, but it might be nice to have.

I have this one. Happy with it. Big enough for small engine work.

Looks like a good sized unit. How's the noise level? What do you use for solution?

size is 3L. Just sort of hums- not loud. Solution depends on what I'm cleaning; pine sol, simple green, lime away, purple power. Nothing volatile. Do a google search for whatever metal is going in. I think it was simple green that turned aluminum black. For carbs, I soak them in gunk carb cleaner first.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
