Depends on condition really, and options (tires, rear lift, front hydraulics, etc) to some extent, as well as attachments. Where in IL?

There is a 'what is it worth' section here.

We're going to need a few pics to give any kind of accurate value.

782's in my area as "plain jane's" sell for somewhere between $400-$800. As already mentioned, condition, extras and pictures help get a better estimate of the value.

I still don't understand how people think you're to give them a "what's it worth" without at least seeing what the machine looks like. Still wouldn't know how it runs without seeing a video. BUT pictures at least.

Last summer a 782 sold for $775 at an estate auction. Came with 44" deck and a snowblower. Not sure on hours, but it was a series 1 and had a nice older repaint.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
