Default A Page for the Cadet riding mowers

I've been wondering, why isn't there a page for the little Cadet lawnmowers like the Cadet 60,55,85,and 95, along with the 282, 382, etc. I am sure I missed a lot, but it gives you an idea. I bought a little Cadet 60 rider in August for 50 bucks and have been working on it all winter. I have had a booger of a time finding info about it because not many people collect them. Maybe I didn't realize it and I can post about them somewhere else, but I think this would be a good idea. These little mowers deserve a little bit of love too, and They are built by IH you know.
Just a thought.

Wild Bill is correct. I have a restored Model 60 and several others including the Electric Model 95... Only one I know I do do not have is the Model 55 IIRC (my 85 is non-running and will have to look to see if I have an 85S)...... If the interest is sufficient, others should chime it & let OCC know about it.. I've also got info on all the models in my library...and as always will be glad to be of assistance to OCC members.

We have added two new Sections. A section for Lawn Tractors (LT) and a section for Rear Engine Riders (RER)

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
