Default UREKA! dumd idea here.

I just read a reply to a thread that began with "fun fact", could that be a new section? The unknown fun fact section. Ive had lots of dumb ideas in my day, and this could be another one. But maybe not. Just throwing it out there.

We could just use this thread and elaborate:

FUN FACT:
Push mowers give you more exercise, than riding mowers!!

Who is next??

Or do you have a different concept for the "FUN FACT"?

You're beginning to sound like my DR! So I compromised and didn't install power steering on my 982--takes more effort! Of course I did do a ball bearing upgrade on the steering box.

Fun Fact:

A 10lb goose will leave 15lbs of "resi-doo-doo" on your driveway per visit.

Never mind HOW I know, I just know.

I kinda meant about cadets, but the ones above are rather entertaining. I was curious though why ih make a 16 hp gear drive until the red line? But 15 pounds from a 10 pound bird does make one wonder...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
