We are the only Cub Cadet site that is strictly Cub Cadet. No off brand or topic side threads. We have a General Section that is fairly flexible and so far hasn't got out of hand.

So, I ask......what part of ONLYCUBCADETS does one not understand....???
I fully understand that as well, just was bringing out another reason that an off brand section wounldent be a good idea. You guys have done a great job with the site, and I love the fact that it is ONLY cub cadets Keep up the good work!

Good Point, I like this community because it is ONLY Cub Cadets, Others tend to sway more towards all brands and JD inevitably beats them all out because it has a larger following. I left Cub Cadets because its not exactly ONLY CC's and they layout is not user friendly like ours. Keep up the good work Roland and all the rest behind the curtain!

You can do what every other forum does for the for sale section - 50 posts min required to post a for sale ad.

I'm OK with Only Cub items. I'll just post my non Cub stuff on C- List or the appropriate forum for the item I wish to sell. Only reason I liked the idea is some of us do have other color tractors and I just wanted to be able to offer them something if I have it for sale but no problem for me and I certainly don’t want to cause any problems.

There is a reason the site is called "Only Cub Cadets". With discussion from the other Mods and Admin about this, we decided we will keep the current format as is. There are plenty of other places to move and sell the off topic items.
Thankyou! Only Cub Cadets says it all!

edit: other tractor brands like JD and such are SUB-PAR, and there has not been a better built garden tractor than IH Cub Cadet!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
