House looks great! I'm just glad you didn't paint your Cub.

I like it. Never thought of using an airless paint sprayer on a piece of machinery.

They work Okay with waterborne paint thats heavier but not well with solvent based paints. Maybe if you wanted to use non thinned oil it might work decent. I have not tried that but the the consistency between the 2 are pretty close. I would try it on a test panel.

Thanks guys. Tim you are right on the spray quality. You can’t spray a thin smooth coat with it. Menards said don’t thin it wish I added some water. Had to pull it apart every fill up and blast it with the water hose or it would spit some big drops. Never tried the lil detail gun. When I finish the house I think I’ll try it out back in the barn. But not on the cubs. You do awesome work Tim.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
