looked at a cub today
While I was out today I ran across this cub in a neighboring town. I beleive it was either a 107 or a 127. This thing had no motor in it and was wearing a 102 hood with a beat white fiberglass seat. This cub has headlights and a creeper gear. I thought maybe I could pick this up for a song until I saw the price. $200 firm with a phone #. Gonna call the guy tomorrow and see if he is really serious on the price. Seat and fender tin was pretty hammered up also. Probably $75 would be as high as I would go. More than likely it will insult the guy but you got to try.

Sorry about that Lewis must have been a 106 or a 126 because the light panel looks like the bottom pic you posted.Got my #s mixed up. The hood does not fit right either. ihnick I just can't justify 200. A friend of mine that drives that way to work says that it has been sitting there for almost 3 months. If I can't get it for a 100 dollar bill I guess I don't need it that bad. I hope he wants to deal seeing how long it has sat there.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
