Looks good!! Like they said.. legs are nice if you want to unhook it with chemical in it. Like John said though.. only tall enough to get it unhooked otherwise you will be dragging!

Guys, it is mounted to the 3pt hitch. Yes, the legs only need to be tall enough to sit it down on, but if dragging is a possibility, all he has to do is raise the hitch. Duh

Leg height is more a question of where he is going to use it. Crossing ditches, driving through ATV trails in the woods, etc.

Agreed! I have a 3000 Ford that we use around the farm, through ditches, fire breaks etc.. we had to shorten the legs on the large sprayer... even with the lift all the way up it was possible to hang it up..

Somehow, I doubt he is going to be spraying in areas that warrant the 982 so deep into a ditch that it's an issue. If that's the case, he needs a sprayer on a 4 wheeler, and this project was useless instead of beneficial.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
