What?
You have never tried installing one w/the blade already mounted to the sub-frame.....alone?? as in by yourself??
I know the hassle, that's why I added the ears.
No tools or pry bay needed.

I would like to add that a small bottle jack makes the job of changing subframes MUCH easier. Just jack the arms apart so that when one side is on the pivot shaft, the other side will just go on. It's safer then a pry bar slipping off and hitting someone or something you value and you are not possibly distorting the subframe any more than necessary.

Yeah.... every time I put the blade on the tractor I do it all by myself. Put the hook ends just up on the bar, then walk to the front, lift it up to the QA, pull it forward just enough to slip up then shove it back. Takes maybe 30 seconds.

I mount my 450 blower and the 2B tiller all by myself too.
