I drove to Lathrup mo. A direct in the path place.
To view it ,saw plated from Cal. , Ok. ,Ontario. I heard it was going to be a midnight like scene for 10 min. It was only about 90 sec. and more like late dusk, not worth the long drive IMO

I'm sure it's a neat once in a lifetime thing, but personally I wouldn't be driving to another state to see it. I'm the guy who avoids places where people travel to to see something. I live near Carlisle PA, and when people hear that, they say "oh do you go to the car shows?" Nope. When there are car shows I stay far away from that place, too much traffic and chaos.

People are just plain stupid anymore! Everyone should work a retail job some point in their lives just to see how stupid!
On another note I was in the path of total eclipse and it was very cool! I wouldn't drive to another state that see it either.
