Lawn? The way you always talk it's more like a stone quarry.

LOL, pretty close. I'd like to see someone try to mow it with a ZTR.

At least your grass still looks green, Tim. I mowed just now, and most of mine is dead.... or at least the clover is dead. Looks all nasty brown, lol. But the buckhorn plantain was starting to get tall.

I love my old Cub Cadets...I really do...I spend countless hours and money on them...but nothing cuts my lawn nicer than my Simplicity Broadmoor.

I think my cattle did a better job of mowing than anything mechanical, and the
Steaks tasted yummy!
I sure miss them.

Huh, the shape's of our yard, it's actually faster going back and forth, than roundy round. First time I explained to Nancy how to go about it, I said just like cultivating corn. Go up, turn around and come back...
Don't forget, she was a city girl, and had no idea how to cultivate. I thought everyone knew that.

Haven't mowed at the farm since June 24th. I don't think we've had a 1/2" of rain in that time. Only thing growing is new trees.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
