Default Image hosting.

Like most people i'm tired of photobucket, everytime i go over there it takes forever to upload pics and half the time i give up before its done. I recently signed up over at postimage.org and i think its great but they have file size limits in place that prevent about 50% of my pics from uploading. I'm curious what you guys are using?

What's your main purpose for uploading the pictures? Do you just want somewhere to keep them, or are you trying to share them with friends/family?

Mostly just to post them to this site. I found a site called Imgur thats supposed to be the best and i'm messing with it now, they allow files up to 20mb so loading pics isn't an issue.

On one of the motorcycle forums I'm on, the site owner posted this. ( that's a left side exhaust pipe for a Kawasaki three cylinder two stroke )

I have found a FREE photo hosting site that is similar to Photobucket without the hassle.
It is PictureTrail.... http://www.picturetrail.com/
The only hitch is 50MB free storage. If you resize photos prior to upload that still means a lot of pics.
(no reason why multiple accounts can't be set up)
It is pretty easy to learn & use.
It provides image links for message boards and resizes automatically per default setting.

Here is another site that is simple to use with no limits: https://postimages.org/

There are numerous free sites for hosting & sharing photo albums, Flickr, Google Photos, Dropbox, etc. but not so convenient for posting individual photos.

I'm tired of photobucket too. I have a Pro account and it's still a bunch of crap to deal with. I HAD certain pictures that I purposely kept large for the detail and they resized them.

I got a domain and will be storing my pictures there. That also gives me an option of having a website for my parts ( after I figure it out )

My issue with postimage was the 8mb pic size limit, i don't wanna have to resize my pics and upload them to that site just to post a pic here. According to there faq section you can upgrade to premium and have a 16mb limit but i couldn't find where to do it or how much it cost.

Any pic I want to save I put on my 1T external hard drive. Yeah I'm old and don't trust anybody who does things for free or next to free, there's always a catch.

I got ya. I don't mess much with image hosting sites. I was going to offer some suggestions for if you were just trying to save them and have access to them outside the house.

I've been texting any picture I've taken and want to share, (no matter what size, my phone is up to 16meg so very large files) to myself, then save those texted pictures into a "postable" folder in my gallery. It automatically resizes them to a format that's suitable, and I've been able to post here quite successfully, SO FAR. I won't explain why that works for me, (mostly because I can't).

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
