sorry... I went Green
Well after 12 years of faithful Ownership of my cub 1772 I have moved on... Its bitter sweet for sure, I loved my super smoker. But I had my heart set on an all in one and the more i read about the pros and cons of adding a bucket I decided to just cut the cord and Get something new, or new to me at least
I'm now the proud owner of a John Deere 2210, I got a deal on one with a loader, 62" mower and 54" plow out in Mansfield. Now today I found a 49" snow blower down near Pittsburgh. My year round needs will be set with one machine. I feel i got a pretty good deal on everything that im getting. Now my super with the 60" Haban deck, Haban 54" power angle plow, 45" Snow blower and snow cab will have to go. I had alot of fun doing all the upgrades to the starter, alternator drive shaft etc on this ole girl. As well as restoring the deck and blower. IT Has been i great tractor.. I can only hope for the same on this Deere.

Congrats on the new toy. I almost went green last night when I found a Deere 322 in good shape for $900, I would have bought it but I was $900 short.

I like it.
It would be fun to have such a machine. I also like having multiple tractors, counting on one to always be ready would put me in a spot at times. Right now my 1864 is down with a bad oil seal and because I have backups I don't need to stress about getting it fixed. So until I get the time and parts to repair it I can use my GT1554, or one of my 1440s and I have a 127 that works too. Good luck with your green machine.

The 2210 is a great little compact tractor. I wish I could find a nice 2210 or 2305 with a front loader. Have fun with your new toys!

Don't apologize for selling your machine. The way I look at it... More cubs for the rest of us. And sub compacts are just awesome little machines. Very handy, mfd, and eat pto attachments are easy to come by. Not so much with pto sgts

Think you made a smart move. If I had to pick one it would be my BX, Cubs are fun but when you need more muscle the SCUT's are the way to go.

So are you getting rid of the 1772? or keeping it for mowing duty?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
