Granted I don't get "true" traction, but they have never slipped on me either, with them but they do seal around the rim, they are affordable and keep the snow/dirt out.

The link Lance posted doesn't say sold but it says sold out which means the person ended the auction early and probably sold them for less locally. I would hope nobody is dumb enough to pay that much for dual adapters, if they are I better go buy the set my buddy has for $75 and make a killing on them.

I would hope not too!!

What length are your buddies? Or what tires are they for? Lance and I were just talking about it today. I have a set for 6-12's, but want a set for 8.50's. But I want min of 2" or 3" between the tires.

According to eBay website on completed listings for the dual wheel adapter.... "best offer accepted". It was sold on eBay.....for how much we may never know.

Oh wow, I hadn't checked back on them....I figured they'd sit there forever. But, someone wanted those real bad.

I like the look of that. Nice and close to the tractor. Would you still be able to run fenders with the inner wheel turned backwards?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
