I think the brass shift knob would be a little much, however beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As you stated if you don't like it, you could always have it powdercoated, or sell it.

Tim I would go with a pistol grip but if you do the brass you could get yourself a grill for your teeth to complete the look.

I like the pistol grip. I did one with an old Hurst T handle i drilled to go on vertically. I also have that skull head with red eyes as a wheel spinner, clamped on something that sticks out to protect my leg when walking around it. I resemble that remark. Mike

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
