What if you fart while you're using it? Does it throw off the reading?

Oops I was looking at this on my phone. Did not see it. Reminds me of a tread on here a few weeks ago.

I don't need an app. I can guess engine RPM within 50 RPM by ear. No, I'm not exaggerating. Used to have bets with my employees all the time and they would lose. Usually I was within 20-30 RPM. They thought it was unreal. That's what happens with experience though.

I still use a tach though (photo or otherwise) to verify. I like to be certain I'm correct.

So instead of downloading the phone app, we can just call you right?

I don't know if I could do it via a video on YouTube or not. I'd almost like to try it.

That's the one. I've only used it a few times and never compared it to a real tach on the same engine. I could try that on my motorcycle I guess.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
