Default Cub Cadet Pro Z line and other questions

Warning: Long posts with numerous questions. But this site is the best for help.
I was looking at the new Cub Cadet Pro Z line of zero turn mowers (ZTR) and was learning the transmission on ZTR's are extremely important. These machines are amazing and are built to last. The metal used is so thick; it almost seems like an overkill. The Pro Z 100 has a Hydro Gear ZT 3400. It comes with a Kohler Confidant engine which I have no knowledge of. If I were to get this, I would get it with the FX Kawasaki engine. Is Kohler's new engine (Confidant) any good? Is it better than the Courage but not as good as the Command? What is different about this engine compared to the Courage and the Command?
While doing research, I found comparing the different transmissions in them as well as the garden tractors to be very interesting. There is a lot of data on the Internet, but there also is no exact data either like actual torque ratings. I was reading the transmission in the 2000 series Cub Cadet has a Hydro Gear BDU 10L. I was reading it is similar in strength to the Tuff Torque 58 that John Deere puts in the x300 line but less powerful than the Tuff Torque 72 in the x500 line. Since I have no experience in John Deere products and know nothing about transmissions other than torque ratings, does anyone have information on this matter. Is Hydro Gear a good transmission? What is the actual foot pounds of torque for the BDU 10L? Is it as good a transmission as the Tuff Torque and what are the differences?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
