Technically... it is a Riding Mower....
Just a really Big One. Lol
I picked this early 60s Cockshutt 415 sickle mower yesterday, it green because it was built after Oliver took over production in '62.

When I was a kid (many moons ago), we had a IH "riding mower". I don't recall the model and if I were to guess, it was made in the 1940's or 50's.

I scored the sickle yesterday on an even swap for a tiny little Sears riding mower that I listed at $300, only cost me the fuel to pick it up 20 minutes from home.
I'll get some use out of the sickle to mow the ditch along the road in front of our property, its been too rough along there for a small tractor ever since it flooded here 3 years ago.

Trailer types were never popular here, but rear semi-mounts were. This is my dad cutting hay last year. Mower is a balanced head IH--no pitman.
