I posted these before, but thought I would share again. A two stall garage, non insulated, concrete floor...installed a wood stove this year, and have my old laptop and internet access in it. Plus my vintage tune player They called for rain here recently so the shop side of the garage turned into temporary storage It was cool enough to start a fire in the stove tonight. Worked great, stayed nice and warm working on the generator, listening to tunes and surfing CL.

Flip once you've got a reliable Cub. I had a little JD like that, got $850 for it, sprinkled some of that money on my 782 & 1861. The little deere did a horsesh!t job mowing too. Glad to see that pos go away.

Thats what I may do. The Deere only has 80 hours on it. The PO bought it brand new. Used it like three or for times, hit a stump and broke a spindle. Parked for 2 1/2 years under a tree in their front yard. I picked it up for 300. Need to rebuild the deck and service the engine. Still in good shape. Just dirty.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
