Default Scored good yesterday

My uncle was telling me about a sickle mower he had found and said the owner thought it was for a cub. So I asked for a picture of it to see what it was. He sent me a pic and I immediately said how much. He told me 100 for it and its all there. So I went to a tractor show to go pick it up at the guys house and he wasn't there but told me to look around and if i found anything else that I wanted to call. Well after getting there found out it was a Haban sickle mower for a cub cadet. Me and buddy drug it from the woods and to the bed of my truck. Well I power washed it last night and took pics. Some things don't look right and I'm not real sure how some of it goes. But here are some pics

I hate sideways cell phone pics, fixed it for you. Looks like a Haban for a Cub. I'd like to see a better pic of the front where it attaches to the tractor. I have PDF copies of the manuals for the 402-D and the 402-E, If you need them PM me your e-mail address.

Think the 402 D is for the NF Cubs. Not sure if much is different between the D and the E. The one I have is a 402 E but I modified it to fit a Cyclops. I do have the front mount sitting on the shelf if it turns out that it's the only difference. The 402 E came with the 149 I picked up this year.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
