Knowing NOTHING about a LT1050, I think I can say with some certainty, you won't be able to attach a box blade to your lawn tractor. I know nothing is impossible, but even though, prolly wouldn't be a good decision on a LT even if you could figure out how to rig one up. What info are you specifically looking for on AG tires? How to install them? Brands we like?...

Welcome 3Wheels...
The LT stands for Lawn Tractor... Fabricating and using a rear box blade on that tractor will hasten its demise.... For that type of ground engagement you should look for a GT style tractor.... With preferably a shaft drive system.... |

Unfortunately this is the truth.

Believe these other posters. I once had a 1420 which was a lawn tractor. I used it for several years mowing 3 - 4 acres and it did just fine. I also had a snow blower for it so it got used year round. It did last for about 15 years but the tranny self destructed and finally could not be repaired. That is the only cub I got rid of. If you want something to do anything more than mowing get one designed for that.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
