Epoxy primer is designed to etch into the metal so it gets a good bite, some 2k primer is approved to go over bare metal and will usually be marked DTM for direct to metal.

yeah i shouldve been more clear in what i meant...epoxy primer and most 2k or 2 part primers ive ever used required a hardener or catalyst... there is a difference in the base resins, Jon is right, i dont remember what is what, and Tim knows what hes doing....epoxy will be the best sealer rust inhibitor, and the 2k will fill small voids etc....
just used to calling a 2 part a 2k... i even used an epoxy primer from germany that came in an aerosol can along time ago..had to punch a button on the bottom and shake for said minutes and no good after like 12hrs or something like that.... anyways good luck with it |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
