excellent fab work!! i wonder if you could make the whole thing pin on using the front lower three point pins HMMM? cant wait to get a 3 point

His set up should work nice. It's just a copy of the factory set up.

He's not dead that I know of. Hasn't visited the site since November. Hasn't posted in more than 6 months.

Id really like to know how Steve Bluniers #2 with extensions worked out. Ever seen that thing?

I have seen a #2 extended to 50" I believe, but I don't recall who's it was.... it was on another forum.

As far as HP is concerned, the GT's should be able to pull a 48" tiller. The SGT's could, and some of them didn't make any more HP than a GT.

Steve Blunier on the IH Cub Cadet .com forum extended a #2 he added extra bearings and it is 50 or 52 inches wide.It is on a 2072 makes it pull pretty good.For me my 48 Cat-O is easier to put on back up put the pins in and hook up the driveshaft.But you need 100 pounds up front to hold it down on a 982.
