Made this up last night, definitely not as pretty as the tube bumper, but the provision for a spider catcher is worth a lot to me.

Thanks for the inspiration.

I was wondering the same? But was scared to ask

guessing a pole that stands up in the front to catch and break spider webs?

You got it. I don't respond well battling fat arachnids on the face while operating machinery. 1/2" conduit slips over the stud.

Jay and Randy have obviously never mowed a Christmas tree field. I did this years ago with zip ties and a piece of 5' shoe mold on my factory Cyclops bumper.

Well done sir!

Nope... I can honestly say I have never mowed a Christmas tree field!! But I have had my share of spider webs to the face riding thru the woods! Never would've thought about a pole out front! Great idea. I'm sure it helps out a lot!

Nice bumper, looks like it will do some damage to the objects you encounter.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
