Lookin good, Todd!! I would think it should hold with a new bearing in there! Don't know if I would hang 500 lbs on the back, probably wouldn't do that to any bushing tractor anyways.

Axle tube repair should be fine. Good thing is that on an O you don't need to worry about an oil leak at the axle end.

Got the engine nearly assembled. SG cleaned down to bare metal and primed. Holes in the hood welded up that don't belong......
Working on how to clean up the VR, slow process. What do you all do to te sides and back to get the rust off? Now I'm not referring to the cover

Looks really nice Todd. Are you doing anything with the clutch? I'm rebuilding 2 O clutches and have sourced the end bearing, timken style thrust bearing, and thrust collar bushing from my local supplier. Did you get the front wheel bushings from cub cadet or local?

No on the clutch. It was gone through before I got it, and it worked good, so leaving it alone.
Yes, the wheel bushings were from my local dealer.
Couple pictures from the weekends work done. Don't think I'm liking the coil with the black top, think I'm going to start over and paint it all yeller, think that's the way it left the factory, correct?
I know the bolts should be yeller also, but those are staying all natural. I like it better thata way.
