"We want pictures"
I see where one of the biggest comments seems to be "We want Pictures".This is coming from a non computer person who sometimes has trouble finding how to get on the forum.I think it would be nice,and very very helpful,If someone would take the time to give a step by step,with out any computer speak or big words,that a non computer person can understand.It also needs to be for both a windows(??) and a mac users since they seem to be different.I use a Mac and I'm talking about the other type of computers.Not sure what to call them.For those of us that computers come hard to understand,this would allow us to post the"wanted Pictures".This is not meant to be a complaint,but sometimes when something is so easy for some,it can be very hard for someone else.I hope this does not blacklist me here.I just want to be able to understand how to post the pictures.Enough said.Thank you and looking forward to learning how to post them.BooBoo signing off

This has been posted since 2009...
Attaching Images This was initially instructed for a Windows based O/S and I don't know if there is a difference for the Apple O/S or not.

Posting pictures
There seems to be a difference in the 2 types of computers.I can.t seem to drag the pic or copy them from I-photo library.What i need is more of a step by step directions from the Mac storage and not somewhere else.I don't use photo bucket .Im not sure what that is.If a Mac user could help it would be best because Thats what i know a little about.

Since it sounds like you may be at the very beginning of a long learning curve you may consider asking the staff at your local Apple Store to help you in person. If you happen to have a laptop model computer take it with you so you can show them the site and exactly what you want to do. Even if I knew Mac OS, the list of variables is pretty long and intimidating, even on a PC, if you have very little prior experience.
In my opinion, that Apple Store support is supposed to be one of the reasons to pay the premium price of buying a Mac. They should be able to help you out and the service is part of what you paid for when you bought a Mac. It looks like there are locations in Columbus, Akron, and Cinci.

Thanks Max.I did not know about the Apple store or their help. My computer came thru my sisters estate, so I have never been to the store. I will be stopping by the one in Cincy the next time I'm close to the mall. You are right, I have a BIG learning curve ahead.

Max--Sam,well,I'm set up with lessons at the Apple store.I look forward to learning a lot.My instructor assured me its not that hard.I hope to learn enough to pass along to Mac owners how to post pics.The easiest things in life can sometimes be a hard path to walk.Thanks to both of you.BooBoo
