Default 2206 donor wiring diagram

Bought a Cub 2206 for the engine. I'm going to repower a 1872/2072. So I could use a wiring diagram for the 2206. So I can get my head together for what needs to be changed. Thanks in advance for the help.

What you are looking for is a Kohler Command into a 2072. I'll see if I have something along that order.

Search Command wiring and it comes right up as far as general wiring... Sam placed an attachment with the color codes...

Check your email address as listed in your profile. I sent you a custom made wiring diagram for a 2072 w/ a Kohler Command.

Thumbs up

Thank you Sam and Roland. With the info I should keep the smoke in all the correct parts. I'm working with my brother in law changing the 2072 over to the Kohler Command. After we practice on his, I'll change my 1872. I hope then to do a write up on the repower.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
