You might be right.

I agree with you. If it doesn't end at the holes, drilling the ends is a good idea.

Well that sucks. This is why I don't like loaders on Cubs. Take the loader off and sell it. Weld the frame and move on.

Drill holes at each end of the crack, "Vee" out the crack, fill with weld, grind flat and lift lighter next time!

Yep, I should have purchased the loader when I bought my Kubota but I didn't and now they go for way to much money. If the right BX comes along with a FEL I may sell a few cubbies.

Quick question, I'll get some pics this weekend but what size hole should I drill at the ends of the crack?

Just remember you have to weld the hole you drill shut, so don't make it any bigger than it needs to be.

Do you have needle-scaler?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
