I'll have the BX setup with the chains and blade middle of November. But enough of this winter nonsense, going riding tomorrow and Thursday. Had enough tractors to deal with for a few days.

Plowing and driving are 2 different deals. I never drink and drive, ever! For what it's worth I change it up, doing Vodka at the moment.

Snow would be great. We are so dry here in Tennessee. I cannot remember when it was this dry. Usually pasture will last till mid November, but most are feeding hay now.

We had lots of rain this year and I mean lots, if that's any indication for the up and coming Winter were getting hit hard.

When I was young I remember walking on top of the snowbanks being able to touch the telephone lines and climbing over snowbanks during Halloween to trick or treat.

The white outs are always as fun to watch today as is was back than, I quit drinking and smoking a few years back so the need to venture out during a white out isn't so demanding.

I guess I'm a little more excited this year to get snow because I put a new "to me" used snowthrower on the Cub 102.

I reduced the pulley from a 4" dia 3/8 V to a 3 3/4" dia 1/2V for starters, I also have a 3 1/2" dia 1/2V if the need is greater. "both are cast iron pulleys with set screws.

All I can say is......

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

I enjoy snow and winter but some of you guys are getting a bit carried away, you need to hold off on your snow dance for a bit longer cause I'm still getting tractors ready.

This year I'm going to try some DuPont Teflon Snow and Ice Repellant, bought a couple of cans at Wallys a few weeks ago.

Here some reviews....https://www.amazon.com/DuPont-Teflon.../dp/B0031T82NO

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
