Default Not having a good day

It started at 7:00am this morning.

(A) OCC is not available
(B) At 3:00pm was doing some web surfing and got the infamous pop up, "your hard drive is going to crash in 5 minutes unless you call this 800 number" Got scared and started running Virus and malware scans. The Public Electric Utility decides to have a Power Outage in the middle of that.
(C) Got the power back now my Anti-Virus program is screwed up because it was interrupted in the middle of a scan. Had to fix that and re-run another scan.
(D) While I was waiting on the scan, decided to do some "trim mowing". I was within 5 minutes of being done, when bam..........Broken Wheel.

That is it, I give up. I know when I am beat. Going to stay low profile for the rest of the day and night.

Cubs in the shed are saying" If he would have just got up and took one of us for a drive, his day would be better"

It ain't just you. I needed to work on the combine today, everything else got in the way it seemed. Dad wanted to mow some hay---he uses a Farmall Super A--6 volt. Thought the battery was going bad so we opted to change it with another one we had that was old but appeared to be holding a good charge. If you've never worked on one of these machines let me just say its an act of Congress to get the battery out. The replacement battery wouldn't sit low enough in the box to allow the ground bolt (which also connects the box to the dash and stabilizes the dash and steering) to connect, After a bunch of trying I had to "trim" the bottom of the battery case so it would drop down enough to get the bolts in. The battery actually rides on the bent up portions of the bottom of the case---we are talking about 1/8" clearance to get the battery in. Anyway I finally got it in, bolted down, and NOTHING. At this point I think it may be the starter switch. Regardless, the tractor has a hand crank so 1 turn and away it went, he went and mowed for close to 4 hours, I'll deal with the battery/starter issue another time. While he was mowing I pulled a wagon load of hay out of the shed. When I put it under there a month ago, I was a little close to one side. A couple bales were rubbing the corner post, I thought they would just slip by--nope. They pushed back on the load and broke the tailgate in 1/2. So, I get to make one of them tomorrow. And no, the combine still ain't fixed, just as well corn is too wet anyway.

I know how you feel, Roland. Sometimes, it seems like a good idea to just stay in bed.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
