The 2072 will survive, aside from the cab it isn't that bad thanks to quick action by my father. It's safe to say I will be in the market for a 102,123, and 1450 as soon as I get this mess cleaned up.

Sad to see it all that way. Especially the 123, I've always wanted one of them.

Sorry if this has nothing to do with Cubs. Local family had a fire resulting in the fatality of 2 of the kids and it doesn't look good for another. This is what I know at the moment.

I agree with Sam on this. My thinking was that my unfortunate situation would serve as reminder of fire safety, and make everyone think twice about that salamander heater, or improperely stored flamables. And of course heat lamps.

Please don't think for one minute that I don't feel for you with what your dealing with. We all need to be more careful when it comes to fire. I pray that it works out for you my friend.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
