Cool European garden tractor.
I have been looking at a bunch of different garden tractors lately and have come to realize that most of the world uses things that resemble a rototiller with a rear end attached to it. They seem very useful and would probably do great in the terrain out here in the Black Hills. Have a look!! Also If you look up "two wheeled tractor" on google it comes up with some neat images!

There is nothing cool about it, in my opinion. They are used in Europe because agriculture is practiced on a small scale and full garden tractors are not affordable to those who need them. Between 20-25% sales tax and huge labor costs due to employee benefits (like 20-28 days paid vacation+9 holidays each year mandated by law ,"free" medical care paid for by the employers, free lunches in some countries etc.) the cost of a full size garden tractor becomes so prohibitive the only thing they can afford is a tiller with wheels - no frame, no steering wheel, no dash, half the wheels,no seat etc means reduced cost.

I'm in thats cool. I would think that there would be a market for that here in the states. There are more people getting green these days and being more self sufficient. Besides BCS and Earth machines our only option would be an older Gravely.

I had a mid 70s Gravely Commercial 12 for awhile, 30" mower and 30" tiller, it was nice to use but a bit small for my place, still have the home built sulky that came with it but I sold the tractor.

That sucks that Europe taxes the crap out of people. It seems you have more of an issue with there over involved government rather than the tractor.... regardless I think they are cool and I would buy one!
