At least I wasnt the only one! Kids woke me up saying my male shepherd was bleeding all over the house. My son actually came running into my bedroom screaming that "Zeus tried to bight his penis off!!" So I jumped up thinking he was nuts but I had better go check it out, sure enough blood everywhere!! So finally get ahold of a vet, mine is in Syracuse til monday, drove him 25 miles and she(vet) took him right in, after I had to follow him around with a bucket to get a urine sample, and she could not find anything wrong! She shaved his belly thinking it came from there, nope definetly his junk, but where? She finally finds a little cut, maybe 1/8" long. Cleaned him all up sent us home and said to keep him as calm as possible. Drive home go to walk up porch and it started gushing blood so bad it looked like he was shot! Called vet back, "bring him back" so back we went. Still didnt find anything else! She even put her finger in the sheath to see if maybe he got something in there, still nothing. She cleaned him up again and sent us home with same orders to keep him calm. Put him to bed and went to deliver a load of mowers and no lights on trailer! Ended up having to rewire the whole thing. Went to load the last old frame on and found bees that stung rhe hell outta me! Got to guys house went to unload and got stung some more!! Came home said to hell with it and cracked open a case!! All in all it coulda been worse, coulda been outta beer!!

I worked with a furniture carpenter (that does it out of his garage because he is a retired engineer) and his push mower suffered a similar fate. He cut one out of oak and mounted it on and I pushed mowed his lot with that for about a year before he got a whole new mower.

I had a day at work like that- I knew when I got home I was going to mow. Did about 6 feet and the deck belt on the Cub Cadet flew out in pieces. I only had the center blade that was cutting. I shut it down, drove it back to the garage, and hid from the world the rest of the day.

That sounds like it may have been your high ball for the day!! If it wasn't for bad days, then we wouldn't know what a good day was. Hope each day gets better.

I feel your pain. Had a hayride Saturday night. Finished cleaning up Sunday morning. Dumped out the ashes form the fire pit in the edge of the field. Guess what happened about 3 hours later. FIRE!!!! Thank goodness it was trying to burn into the wind and mostly green grass. Man did it make a lot of smoke. Then mowing with the Scag I caught a tire on the FEL. Guess what lost.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
