CSXengr checking in. We are all ok down here in the Sandhills. Lots of trees down tons of folks without power and several roads flooded. My pool fence got blown out. Other than that just a ton of water around here.

Just an FYI about the aftermath in eastern, NC. Lot of flooding, just watched on the news a Coast Guard rescue crew plucking folks from their rooftop. Floodwaters are still rising as the water makes its way downstream. Considering Alan reported to Sam his neighbors had already had to evacuate and his backyard was flooding earlier yesterday, this gives me concern. For those not familiar with hurricanes, its an incredibly sunny day here, a bit breezy though--amazing how a storm that bad can give way to beautiful weather the very next day.

Just tried to call Allen. I left him a message. Maybe he will let us know. The Raeford/ Fayetteville area was hit hard so they probably don't have power. There have been several dams blow out and I-95, I-40 and US 70 closed down east. Very bad!!

Allen just text me. They are staying with friends. They have not power or internet. His house flooded but water has gone down now. From all the reports it may be a week before they get power. He said to let everyone know he really appreciates our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the update Gary! I saw Jenn's pics from the other day and haven't seen any updates since. Hope everything dries out OK for the Cecil's! I have been a little worried!
