Default SGT Cart

I had this little 4'x4' trailer my Grandfather gave me years ago so I decide the 2182 needed a proper cart.

Thanks guys. I cannot take credit for the tractor, that is Sam's handy work. I just keep it in shape. Still going strong though.
I have the same idea Rescue. I just dont have remotes on the tractor yet. I have a shed full of hydraulics i saved from scraping a couple of forklifts from work a few years ago. But I also have a 1 year old daughter, a 4 year old son, and a wife working on her second master degree so time for hobbies is few and far between.

Nice looking setup, I like it.

Got any info on your elevated dock that you have the tractor and trailer sitting on? Also, you work on forklifts or have them at a warehouse? I'm in that biz so just curious.

Edit: I see you work for Toyota so maybe on the automotive side?

Thanks Alvy. I work for Somic America. We make ball joints, tierods, rackends, and other suspension components. We do everything from machining the ball studs and housings to automated assembly, thread rolling, pressing, and have one of the biggest zinc plating facilities on east coast. Anyway the story on the forklifts was we had two electric toyotas break down and had been sitting for weeks. The decision was made to scrape them. So after the chosen scraper didnt show after 3 weeks, I made a offer of 3 bills for one. This was out of the question of course, compared to what the scrapers offered. Enter the company president from our sister plant in Brewer, Maine. He informs our plant manager he is tired of looking at the broken forklifts everytime he comes down and if they are still there next week heads will roll. Well, Friday comes and the lifts have not been moved, so my offer is quickly accepted as is an identical offer for the other one from a coworker. As luck would have it, my coworker tells me if I will remove the fork carriage and forks and deliver them to his farm I can have the rest of the lift. So long story short..er I deliver the forks, strip both lifts of every hydraulic cylinder, hose, and control valve I can and deliver them to the scraper for a return of 5x my investment. I also got two descent seats and roll cages. Thinking the roll cages are going to provide the steel for my fel project.
As for the elevated dock...it is just a deck/ramp to the bigger door of my shop/mancave.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
